Joann Wallace has an extensive background in the operation of major annual conventions, trade shows, and special events throughout the United States. She offers individualized consulting and management services ranging from large meetings to small events and dinners.
During her tenure with the Consumer Electronic Shows, she oversaw the financial management of one of the largest trade events in the U.S. After six years of managing exhibit programs and conferences at the Electronic Industry Show Corporation, Joann served as Director of Meeting Services for the Bank Marketing Association.
Joann incorporated Summit Associates Event Management, Inc. in 1990, specializing in assisting financial services companies with week-long conferences, day events, and client dinners. Our clients particularly value Joann's attention to detail, her consideration of balancing quality vs cost savings, and her professionalism. MICHEL VAN EERSEL
MEETING PLANNER
Michel van Eersel brings an extensive background in both hotel and event operational experience.
After graduation from Heerlen (The Netherlands) Hotel and Restaurant Management School, with a Food & Beverage specialization, he immigrated to the U.S. and worked for both the Marriott Hotel and Omni Hotel chains. His responsibilities included the management of Food & Beverage, Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping.
Michel joined the Meeting Services Department at the CFA Institute (AIMR), working on logistics, budgeting, venue searches, and exhibit management for dozens of conferences and events, both national and international.
Michel has been an integral part of Summit Associates since 2003 utilizing his experiences and knowledge to manage all aspects of events.
